What You Need To Know About Aneurism

All of us aim for a long and healthy life. However, there are instances that this plan is often hindered
by diseases and health complications that either take away the quality of life or unexpectedly shorten
it. Let us know more about one of the most dreaded health conditions: Aneurism.

Brain aneurism is the bulge in the artery of the brain. If an aneurism ruptures, then the condition can be life-threatening and requires prompt medical attention. People of all ages can have aneurism but adult men and women are more likely to develop it and its complications.

Symptoms To Watch Out For
An unruptured brain aneurism can press on the brain tissues and nerves causing pain above the eye, numbness or paralysis of the face and vision changes. You can know if an aneurism ruptures if you experience sudden severe headaches, stiff neck, double vision, nausea and vomiting, and loss of consciousness.

Causes and Risk Factors
Aneurism is caused by the wear and tear on the arteries. As you age, the arteries and blood vessels become weaker so older people have increased chances of having aneurism. You are more prone to the condition if you have hypertension, high blood pressure and if you are a smoker.

Treatment
Aneurism can only be treated with surgery such as microvascular clipping and endovascular embolization. Both surgeries are, however, risky depending on the aneurism location and the patient's age and overall health. Some medications and shunt surgery are used only to relieve signs and symptoms.

Prevention
The best way to battle aneurism is by prevention. Here are some tips by which you can lessen your risk of having aneurism or ruptured aneurism:

Do not smoke or use stimulant drugs as they can suddenly increase blood pressure and weaken arteries.

Limit your intake of cola and energy drinks as these also cause sudden blood pressure increase. Take natural coffee if possible.

Avoid straining or physical over exertion. Incorporate regular exercise to your routine.

Lessen your body's fat and cholesterol with proper diet, exercise and eat foods rich in fiber and antioxidants.

EDITOR'S NOTE: You can do much for your body with a higher level of health consciousness. Take Shake Off Phyto Fiber to lower blood cholesterol, lower risk of high blood pressure and to detoxify the body. MRT can help you maintain your ideal weight and body mass. It also increases your metabolism and energy levels that lessens the risk for stroke, blood vessel damage, aneurism, and heart attack. Taking Red Yeast Coffee also enhances blood circulation, lowers bad cholesterol levels and lessens the risk for heart disease and other complications.
